Experience

Ideally you will have 1 - 3 years experience in Marketing

It is imperative that the individual in question has a strong grasp of the English language and a meticulous eye for detail. Due to the computer and web based nature of this work, it is essential that this individual has an excellent Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and MS Excel as well as a strong level of IT literacy.

The ability to cope with conflicting demands and to prioritise tasks coupled with good communication skills would also be preferred to assist in the day to day administration of duties. Experience of working in a busy office environment, strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to dealing with people is a must.

The Digital Account Manager role is a great stepping stone into the digital field and will provide a wide variety of skill development and progression.

Objectives
To improve online sales, brand awareness, increase visitor traffic, build database, track the activities of the website visitors and to monitor online marketing.

About the role

The role is a demanding one, yet highly rewarding. Working alongside key players in the Hair and Beauty industry and other key stakeholders in the business, you will be providing clients with the highest level of social media optimisation and content marketing that satisfies their digital goals. The main responsibility of a Digital Account Manager is to support the client’s workload.

A typical day in the life of a DAM can look like the following;

- Helping to schedule content across a variety of social media platforms using leading industry software such as Infusionsoft
- Design, setup and manage marketing campaigns
- Build and manage the online community - responding to messages across various platforms, mainly Facebook and Twitter
- Attending team creative sessions to brainstorm ideas for social media campaigns
- Conducting Smart Searches for clients to tap into relevant conversations on Twitter
- Creating industry related blogs
- Manage, design and produce an industry monthly newsletter
- Creating storyboards for animation projects
- Liaising with key personal in the design and management of video content
- Creating monthly reports - analysing and reporting on account performance
- Analysing data from various channels to improve conversion performance
