This independent developer is seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual to manage and deliver their property development projects in London and the South East, as well as to assist with their property development projects in other parts of the UK.

In the last 17 years, they have built over 100 properties in London, Gloucestershire and Kent with end values of over £22m. The development projects they are currently working on have end values of over £50m. Their design-led approach enables us to maximise the value of the properties they develop and break the price ceiling in the markets for which they develop.

Since November 2017, they have crowdfunded over £1.5m in equity for their developments and secured further equity funding of £5m from Private Equity partners. They plan to continue to drive growth by raising in excess of £5m of new equity in the next six months.

You will work closely with their management team and their CEO to manage the operational aspects of their development projects. This will include identifying and appraising potential new sites and managing the delivery of existing projects in London and the South East from their current stage to completion of the project and sale or refinance of finished properties.

They are seeking an individual who understands how to maximise the value of development sites through optimisation and enhancement of planning consents and who can assist us in scaling up their housebuilding and niche development operations. The ideal candidate will have previously held a similar role within a property development business or housebuilding operation.

The successful candidate will possess :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of IT literacy.
- The ability to build positive relationships, manage a team of people and work with other members of the management team.
- The vision and ambition required to build and manage a new business, along with the motivation and drive required to deliver excellent results.
- Proven planning & organisation skills
- A commercial minded, yet innovative approach.
- Experience in delivering successful development projects

If you have the right skills & would like to join their team, they would love to hear from you.

You will ideally possess a property/real estate degree or other comparable qualification and be a MRICS member. However, they will also consider candidates who have sufficient experience to be able to deliver what is required.

The location of the role is flexible and will ideally be suited to someone who lives in London or Kent and is happy to work from home. It is essential that candidates possess their own reliable and presentable vehicle and are prepared to use it on company business.

You may at times need to spend time working near sites in other parts of the UK, particularly in Gloucestershire, to meet the requirements of the role. Overnight stays away from home will occasionally be needed.
