This is an opportunity to join a fast growing, upwardly mobile technology business who are shaking the tree in the energy market. Their, frankly brilliant, software and consultancy services enable businesses to become new suppliers in the energy market and deliver powerful analytics and business efficiency for existing players. They make joining and thriving in this complex, data driven sector as simple as possible. They demystify it for their clients, allowing them to develop their own business at pace and with confidence.

They are a looking for a range of .net Full Stack Developers to join them during their exciting growth in the energy sector. You could be a junior candidate, with some interesting experience or a more established and perhaps heavy hitting top end developer. They think they can accommodate any one with the right skill set and the organisational fit to join a very informal yet professional team of hard working developers.

They are entirely cloud based and use a modern microservice event driven architecture. Virtualisation is a big part of what they do and working with them means you’d be at the leading edge of software development.

The core of the business is serving the energy industry by turning massive volumes of data into valuable insight. You will be taking clients requests and turning them into software applications that create clarity and structure from the masses of data streams that go in and come out of an energy business. This will involve performance reporting, management information and forecasting. Primarily, however, you will be shaping their analytics capability to both internal and external stakeholders.

They use a mix of tools and technologies which include C# as their primary language, HTML, CSS, Angular frameworks, MS SQL and ASP.net. They work in an agile work environment so scrums and sprints would be something you are familiar with. There isn’t much legacy system work. It is pretty much all new and built within the last 18 months.

What is it like to work here:
It’s probably best if they let their employees tell you.
‘It’s fun’. ‘It’s a proper team’. ‘Fast paced’. ‘No red tape’. ‘You can make things happen’. ‘There is a beer fridge!’. ‘Everyone knows everyone’. ‘Professional but informal’. ‘There is free food!’. ‘Great city centre location’. ‘There are loads of opportunities to do more than your normal job’. ‘It’s non-corporate’. ‘Everyone gets a day off on their birthday!’
