Do you want to become part of a growing, award-winning retail technology company? It’s their people that shape their future. They are looking for a committed individual to join their busy Technical Services team.

They are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to provide quality 1st and 2nd line remote desktop support to IT users within their Retail and Logistics clients.

You will be the first point of contact for over 800 users, escalating service tickets to the correct internal resolver groups and third parties.

Using your troubleshooting skills you will be taking ownership of desktop support issues, whilst using remote management tools to remotely assist users and deploy software.

You will be involved in Mail and Web filter content management, and processing email release requests. There will also be responsibility for Asset management and the creation of support documentation and procedures.

- Installing, supporting and troubleshooting MS Windows 7 and 10.
- Supporting office 2010 applications, internet explorer, office 365, outlook web applications and mobile communications.
- Active Directory user administration.
- MS exchange user administration (exchange 2010 preferable).
- Using remote assistance/remote desktop services.
- Applications Installations.
- Network print queue management and printer deployment.
- Good remote troubleshooting techniques.
- Understanding of networks and network communications TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving desktop and laptop devices with respect to basic hardware connectivity.
- Good communication skills.
