This company designs, builds and installs bespoke equipment for automotive and aerospace customers in the UK. They are expanding and are currently recruiting an experienced Design Engineer to work from their Head office in Marlow, Bucks.
Working closely with prestigious customers such as Jaguar Land Rover and Rolls Royce, you will be designing bespoke special purpose equipment.
Candidates will need the ability to work unsupervised, in a fast paced environment so that completion dates are achieved and our customers’ expectations are exceeded.
Essential requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years’ experience of designing bespoke special purpose equipment
- Recent experience of working with SolidWorks to at least intermediate skill level
- Robust problem solving skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to provide technical, innovative solutions
- Ability to work well with others
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings and technical information
- IT proficient
Preferred requirements
- Certified SolidWorks Professional
- Design experience in the automotive/aerospace industry
Salary range: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
