This is a fantastic opportunity for a permanent part time, and experienced hygienist to join a well-established family run practice in the heart of a popular village in Ferring, West Sussex. There is free parking available. There are excellent transport links including a bus stop right outside and a train station 0.7 miles away.
The role of their hygienist will be to support and develop the care of predominantly their periodontally compromised patients, to provide and maintain routine hygiene care and provide bespoke treatment plans working together with the dentists and also able to provide this on your own initiative.
To be right for this role you will be more of a coach than a cleaner, have proven skills in achieving behavioural change and enjoy face to face interaction with your clients. You will be passionate about providing high quality, gentle, painless dentistry and an excellent communicator.
The practice is currently expanding and therefore an opportunity to expand hours will arise.
The practice uses CODE iComply which keeps us extremely in line with all up to date changes from clinical to legal requirements. This in turn also prompts us for training updates and so any relevant training will be provided using online tools, by sourcing official trainers or traveling to seminars as provided by the KSS Deanery via DEBS.
This position is initially for two days per week and may include some Saturdays. At present we have Thursdays 08:00-17:30, Fridays 08:00-17:00 and Saturdays available. Due to the expansion we are extremely flexible on days.
