Due to recent rapid growth, they are looking for a Data Scientist to better understand customer behaviour and make clear, actionable recommendations to senior management.
Role Overview
The Data Scientist will be working with large amounts of data in order to analyse customer behaviour, identify patterns and assess the impact of offers, promotions and marketing campaigns.
Key Performance Areas
- Give timely responses to queries regarding trends in customer data
- Get familiar with the data structures and tools used throughout the business
- Build reports
- Contribute to building more data driven and scientific processes
- Enable other teams to react more quickly to changes in customer behaviour
- Build predictive models to help understand drivers of growth and performance
Skills Required
- Fluency in R or Python
- Experience using SQL databases
- Understanding of basic data science and machine learning techniques (supervised / unsupervised learning)
- 1-2 years of experience handling / analysing data in a professional environment
