Role

As a member of the data science team, you will work both your local peers and wider team members to build, deploy and evolve analytical products. You will also work closely with operational leaders to identify opportunities, available data and ways that data can help in achieving actions with value for their clients. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to work in the R&D space to identify cutting edge technologies to advance Data Science to the next level.

Required

- Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques - including use of supervised and unsupervised methods to
generate predictive models (both classification and regression)
- Strong written and oral communication skills - ability to explain key machine learning and natural
language processing concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Python 2.x or 3.x
- Visualisation + reporting tools (e.g. pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, numpy, sklearn, scipy)
- Education in numerical discipline (e.g. mathematics, statistics, physics, neuroscience etc.)
- Postgraduate degree in numerical discipline (e.g. mathematics, statistics, physics, neuroscience etc)
- Demonstrable data analytics experience in commercial setting or in a relevant academic research area
