An Excellent opportunity has arisen to join a market leading Telecommunications company based in Leicester, UK.
The Data Cabling Installation Engineers position will see the successful candidate become part of an established install and support team, working nationwide throughout the UK.
Duties to include:
- Design, Install and Maintain Cat5e, Cat6 and Fibre solutions.
- Install Telephony solutions, including Telephone Systems, Routers & Network Switches.
- CCTV Installation.
- Work alongside the Leicester based service team, to diagnose and rectify Network faults reported by clients.
Requirements/Experience:
- Experience in Data & Fibre cabling installation.
- Able to discuss with clients and colleagues the needs for individual installations.
- Ability to read from building drawings.
- Confident in the use of power and hand tools.
- Capable and competent working on ladders and scaffold.
- Valid UK Driving License.
- Flexibility to start early and finish late on some occasions, there could also be the need to stay away.
- Weekend overtime could be requested.
- DBS enhanced checks will be carried out.
- CSCS, Ipaf would be desirable.
