Fixed Term Contract (6 months but likely to be extended)

This Company develops innovative 3D scanning solutions for leading global brands and pioneering organisations. Their technology is re-defining solutions and inspiring better experiences across a wide range of industry sectors from medical research to security and retail. Born out of Oxford University, this Company has offices in Oxford, UK and Greenville in North America.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to work in a fast-paced technology start up analysing and reporting on data from high profile evaluation trials to support their project value propositions.

To be part of their growing business, you’ll not only be adept at analysing, modelling and interpreting data but your attention to detail and accuracy in reporting to internal and external audiences will be second to none. One of your key strengths will be to communicate ideas, problems and solutions effectively with others.

Day to Day you’ll be:

- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and automation of processes and following through with the implementation of enhancements
- Creating new methods from scratch – improving and developing methods and ensuring focused analytical review
- Producing senior management reports utilising business analytics reporting tools such as Matlab/Python/R for statistical analysis
- Working with clients’ data, amalgamating and manipulating data and providing reliable analyses to highlight key performance indicators.

What you’ll need:

- Educated to degree level in Maths, Statistics or related subject involving Maths such as Economics or Data Science or equivalent relevant work experience
- Experience of using Matlab or Python
- Proven experience of analysing, modelling and interpreting data
- High quality, accurate and reliable reporting with exceptional attention to detail
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel to advanced level
- Eligible to work in the UK

If you have experience of using R then so much the better.
