Looking for a role to grow your data analysis and project management skills? Join this small, nimble, owner-led team.

They are looking for a data analyst to work for a company handling environmental data calculations. This role is suitable for those who enjoy working with spreadsheets and data but also have an interest in environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) issues. The role is not directly working on policy. This full time permanent post is suitable for graduates looking to gain initial experience in data analysis, and those with some work experience.

They are looking for a talented candidate who will bring pro-activity, endeavour and attention to detail to their company. Working as part of a small, committed team, you will be responsible for calculating packaging waste obligations for clients, including collecting and conducting quality assurance on environmental data from several hundred companies. Due to the seasonality of the work the candidates must also be willing to engage with business development and other areas of the company. All members of staff are involved in sales and marketing (including writing proposals and updating the website and blog) to help grow the business. They don’t anticipate that candidates will have experience in this.

You will hold a good degree in a numerical subject, enjoy working with data and be a strong team player. You will have the ability to manage large quantities of data efficiently and carefully. You will ensure that all projects are completed on schedule and to budget to a consistently high standard. You will enjoy the responsibility of working with their high-profile clients, and the challenge of working for a small business, playing a variety of roles.

About the Company
The focus of their work is data collection and analysis for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). They specialise in Producer Responsibility calculations and submissions globally, including Packaging Waste, WEEE and Batteries. However, the business is currently expanding into other areas of CSR data analysis. They provide support to over 70 companies who are obligated under the Producer Responsibility regulations.

They have a company pension with The People’s Pension and also offer childcare vouchers.

Deadline: 12 noon Tuesday 27th June. Please note that we may begin to interview before this final deadline, so strongly urge candidates to submit their applications as soon as they are able. Shortlisted candidates will be sent a full job description and be asked to complete an application form.
