Launched in 2003 and now with more than 600K customers, this company is the UK’s largest retailer of musical instruments and music equipment. They operate across all categories and offer solutions for everyone: from rock ‘n’ roll to classical, from studio to stage.

As a result of rapid business growth they will be moving to its newly purchased HQ based centrally in York from August 2017. The new site offers a high quality modern office with excellent facilities including; ample free onsite car parking, secure bicycle parking, located one mile from the train station and with regular bus services, and local amenities within walking distance.

Their growing team is looking to recruit a Dutch Speaking Advisor to join their multilingual customer service division. This is a fantastic opportunity for an interesting career within the music products industry.

Customer Experience Advisor

Being a Customer Experience Advisor you will play a crucial role in supporting their customers in the Dutch market. This will include providing first-class customer service, dealing with customer enquiries via telephone & email, and providing friendly and professional advice on a wide range of musical instruments & equipment, alongside the translation of the website for that country.

Essential Skills

- Multilingual – excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
- Excellent translation skills.
- A good knowledge of musical instruments and equipment is vital.

Desired Skills

- Some experience of working in a customer service, sales or marketing team.
- Computer literate to a high standard, with good Microsoft Office skills.

Personal Qualities

- Reliable and committed to providing first class advice and service.
- Highly communicative.
- Ideally have an interest and appreciation of music.

Things to Consider

You must have eligibility to work in the UK, the ability to work from our office in York, and be multilingual in Dutch and English. You must also be able to demonstrate good technical musical knowledge in order to be considered for a position.

Useful Information

- As market leaders they are able to offer highly competitive remuneration packages, based upon skills & experience.
- Working week: 39.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri (This may include two Saturdays or Sundays per month in exchange for a weekday off.)
