Due to the continued growth of this company’s web based enterprise, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Customer Service Agent with bags of enthusiasm to join their already established team supporting the market leading online shipping management solution.

Based in a lively office environment in Retford, your role will be to:

- To provide practical solutions to queries raised by customers and provide support in their office environment.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the products and services in order to understand customers’ needs.
- Deal with logistical parcel problems on a daily basis.
- Contact customers in a courteous and polite manner both over the phone, tickets and by email.
- Interact with couriers with any problems or queries.
- Manage the data base, email accounts and easy view on a daily basis.
- Document customer outcomes.
- Keep and maintain accurate records of all discussions held with customers and with all couriers.
- Work to KPI’s.
- Chase parcel enquiries from their customers.
- Deal with incoming problems with missing parcels, damaged parcels, International parcels, delayed parcels, failed collections and any issues with the solutions website.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.

Experience is desirable but not essential and a superior telephone manner is necessary along with a positive professional attitude and the ability to communicate at all levels.

You need to be driven, ambitious with a strong work ethic and the determination to succeed as you will be working within a team in a structured and targeted environment.

As they are a web-based business, excellent PC skills and knowledge of the internet and it's uses are vital, along with a good command of English.

Full ongoing training and support will be given to the successful candidate.

Competitive Salary.

Working hours: Monday- Friday 8.30am-5.30pm or 9am to 6pm, 28 days annual holiday (inc. bank holidays) increasing with length of service.
