Customer Service Advisor

This is an opportunity to join a family owned business with over 40 years’ experience. They are looking to recruit a full time technician to join their team of highly skilled and trained technicians within their busy 10 bay Workshop at their Rushden branch.

They are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team in their busy Service Department at their Rushden branch.

You will be greeting, receiving inbound calls and enquiries from customers. You’ll ensure their smooth journey, from agreeing a service or understanding repair requirements to booking in work and presenting the completed job. You will also be required to administer warranty claims including claiming, invoicing and warranty part returns.

They require a confident, presentable and friendly person who’ll liaise with their parts team and technicians, suggest additional extras and services to the customer, and make sure all invoicing is prepared and ready in time.

The successful candidate will have: Excellent Communication Skills, Excellent Customer Care Skills, and Good Administration Ability as well as being able to work efficiently and as part of a team. You must be fluent in English and be able to write competently.

They are looking for previous experience within a customer facing role.

Main Duties:
-Assisting and directing customers within the department
- Answering telephone calls
- Booking in work via the diary and their system schedule
- Dealing with and processing with the day to day administration
- Administering warranty claims, diagnosing and identifying relevant repairs /times/ parts.
- Speaking with customers, engineers and manufacturers regarding claims
- Checking service history’s comply with warranty terms/conditions
- Performing any other ad hock tasks, as required, which will help to contribute to the overall performance of your position and the business.

- Able to adapt to the companies needs in the way we deliver their service
- Reliable and takes pride in the quality of their work

An element of manual handling of vehicles is required therefore a certain amount of physical fitness is required.

Uniform will be provided.
9am to 6pm – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. 8:30am to 5pm – Saturday
(Wednesday is a non-working day).

£9.00 per hour
