An exciting opportunity to join a well-respected, innovative and growing company with nearly 30 years of experience working in the cleaning and hygiene industry.

This is a field-based role which involves travel and occasional night work. You will be working in the UK rail sector with new and existing customers- interacting with front line cleaning operatives, middle and senior management. The role involves delivery of training and presentations in addition to problem solving cleaning matters and identifying sales opportunities.

Salary:

£25,000-£35,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle

Job Purpose:

To build working relationships with new and existing customers that reinforce their brand value and maximises commercial opportunities within the UK rail sector through expert product and sector knowledge.

The post-holder will most influence the job purpose by:

- Rapidly climbing the learning curve related to products, sector, and customers while continually developing the Company’s knowledge base in these areas
- Supporting their customers with problem solving abilities and expert sector knowledge
- Imparting detailed product knowledge in a simple, clear and concise way through exemplary communication skills
- Developing a credible sales plan in line with the overall Company objectives
- Delivering informative, professional and engaging training to cleaning operatives at various UK locations, occasionally during nightshift / backshift working hours
- Contributing positively to the sales result by delivering profitable sales from new and existing customers
- Creatively contributing to ongoing efforts to improve and innovate the Company’s product offering

About You:

- A confident and creative personality that means you are driven by the challenge and enjoy working with people from all backgrounds.
- You can demonstrate previous success in sales and marketing positions.
- You have a willingness to learn new skills and put them to the test with a genuine interest in helping customers.
- You possess excellent presentation skills and the capacity to present in front of groups of people.
- An ability to clearly communicate with a diverse range of people via written and spoken forms is within your capabilities.
- You'll be comfortable discussing technology and software solutions and the benefits they offer.
- Formulating and executing strategic plans whilst maintaining accountability does not phase you.
- A cleaning, FM, rail or safety background is advantageous, as are BICSc accreditations.
