This company is Europe’s foremost Transport publisher, producing market-leading magazines within all sectors of aviation, rail, bus and modelling publications such as FlyPast, Airliner World, Modern Railways and Hornby magazine, they are renowned around the globe for their wide range of magazines and media.

Working closely with the Chief Customer Officer, this role will enable decisions to be based on market insights and customer data and enable insight to be translated effectively into strategy, innovation and marketing plans.

You will be responsible for:
- Working with the Chief Customer Officer to analyse customer data and behaviour.
- Deepening their understanding of their customers and improve targeting, evaluation and marketing campaign performance.
- Creating market analysis.
- Defining research needs and required methodologies against strategic priorities and lead marketing research programmes.
- Conducting market sizing studies
- Analysing customer data sets to improve financial performance.
- Creation of customer data segments to improve renewal performance

Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in a consumer insight/research environment
- Research project management experience - large & small.
- Strong data & analytical reasoning skills.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Highly organised & numerate.
- Ability to deliver in-depth data analysis & actionable insights across all platforms.
- Be familiar with market data sources as well as being able to gather intelligence and insights.
- Hands on experience in a wide variety of qualitative & quantitative customer research and insight methodologies.
- Great communication, teamwork & stakeholder management skills.
