Corporate Support Manager

£36,154 - £40,988 pa

Based in Thrapston, East Northamptonshire

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a ‘can-do’ approach to join our Corporate Support Team during an exciting period of change and innovation. This role provides an excellent opportunity to help shape the delivery of corporate services.

The post will manage the delivery, staff and Corporate Support functions and is responsible for:

- Performance Management Framework
- Corporate Policy Development and Advice
- Management of statutory duties such as Freedom of Information, Data Protection, Local Government Transparency, Equality and Diversity including relevant training to staff
- Community Right to Bid Applications
- Consultation Framework and Initiatives

You will have excellent communication and relationship management skills with a positive commitment to deliver change across the service. You will be a visible and supportive leader with experience of working with senior officers and members who has the ability to develop and empower staff and ensure that the service is driven by business needs. Able to work in a pressurised environment with changing priorities, you will be confident in managing difficult situations and influencing others.
