This leading security company is currently seeking a Corporate Security Officer to join our team in the Godalming, Surrey area.

Job Overview:
You will ensure the safety and security of people, premises, and property. The post holder will be responsible for working as part of a team to deliver the day-to-day security requirements of a prestigious site, maintaining a high corporate image and very high standards of professionalism.

Principle Accountabilities:
- Access control for customers, visitors, staff and contractors.
- Processing access requests against site documentation and logging these correctly.
- Activating and de-activating access passes in line with permitted access rights against each visitor.
- Monitoring of Building Management System’s passing on any alarm/ alert details to the client operations team.
- Ensure the tasking and adherence to assignment instructions.
- Ensure that all incident reports and site documentation are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all patrol activity is carried out in accordance with the site instructions.
- Investigating and escalating any fire alarms and ensuring all staff/ customers are accounted for in line with site evacuation procedures.
- Work with the Shield head office team to ensure consistent, first-class service is delivered to our client.
- Monitor CCTV at all times and respond to alarms/ alerts.
- Taking receipt of deliveries and booking into goods in store.

Requirements:
- Frontline security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA licence
- Fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history; including full company names, addresses, and landline contact numbers.
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
- Local to Godalming would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in such an environment desirable
- Excellent administration skills
- Reliable with excellent time-management skills.
- A commitment to providing first class customer service is essential
- Good report writing skills
- Conflict management aware
- Strong understanding of customer care awareness
- Security systems knowledge desirable
- Telephone/switchboard skills
- First aid training would be an advantage
- Strong IT literacy skills are essential
- Evidence of corporate security related qualifications would be an advantage

- £9.50 per hour
- A minimum 40-hour working week
- To work, Days, Nights and weekends as part of a roster.
