Are you a detail person? Are you fanatical about policy and enjoy supporting your colleagues?

As a Corporate Information Officer at this national museum group you will be responsible for maintaining accurate catalogues, coaching colleagues on best practice and policy on records management as well as carrying out routine file management tasks such as archiving. There will also be opportunities to get involved in the delivery of key projects such as digitisation and new ways of managing corporate information.

Although not essential this role will suit someone who has experience of working in an information or records management department with a good understanding of best practice in this area of work. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the interpersonal skills to work alongside colleagues within the organisation at all levels. You will be able to work independently but be able to pull together as a team during busy periods.

They are looking to offer this role as either 1 x full time position (35 hours) or 2 x part time positions (17.5 hours each) on a permanent basis. As a full time role you will be expected to work across their two sites in York and Bradford. If 2 part time roles they would require one person to be based in York and one in Bradford.
