This hospice is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, bright and creative individual to join their corporate donations department.

You will be joining the shops’ busy head office at a time when their retail operations matter more than ever. Their retail activity is instrumental in providing a sustainable source of income to support the work of the hospice, and they need motivated people driving this centrally.

The Corporate Donations Officer will be a motivated self-starter, with a proven record in establishing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients. An ability to utilise KPI’s to drive performance will be crucial for the role. You will enjoy working with people, and be able to meet ambitious stock generation targets.

Purpose of Post
To canvass retailers, wholesalers and other industry-specific organisations in order to secure donated trading stock for them to sell in their shops, and to build long term relationships in order to secure regular future donations of merchandise.

This is a multi-faceted role with the ability to learn and grow in the position. The pace of the role is fast and strong organisational skills are required, as well as good working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite. The role requires working closely with major donors and stakeholders, and so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

This role would ideally be suited for someone of University level education who has some insight or experience in the fashion industry, and who is ambitious, full of ideas and committed to contributing to the mission of the hospice.
