This company has a new opening for a motivated & inspiring individual to further strengthen & develop their project finance and control functions.

They are looking for an experienced project finance controller with 5+ years of hands-on experience to provide project managers with regular, accurate and timely project information to enable them to plan, monitor & control their projects

Your work will be in two key areas:
Project Control
- Contracting. Work with Project Managers to review client contracts and ensure that all T&Cs are standard & payment terms/budgets are according to proposal terms; Drafting sub-contract agreements and addendums as & when required & managing the signing process using e-signature software; maintaining contract records in electronic form
- Project Set Up. Assist Project Managers with the setting up of the new won projects. Set up the project code & other details on the finance system. Making sure all intercompany transactions are processed and recorded correctly & in time for the period close. Update project information on the system as & when required
- Project Finance Control and Reporting. Producing project progress reports, working with Project Managers to identify potential profitability/revenue recognition issues & keeping the budgets up to date.
- Ensure timely project billing in line with contractual requirements & effective credit management. Update and posting project cost accruals and processing revenue adjustments based on various methodologies on a monthly basis
- IATI Reporting. Establish strong data management & reporting systems to ensure IATI standards are met, including regular updating of the IATI data base and reporting to the IATI registry
- Project Management Guideline. Ensure guidelines are understood and followed by Project Managers
Finance
- Responsible for the purchase ledger which includes managing the dedicated finance email mailbox; dealing with invoice/account queries; processing suppliers invoices & reconciliation of the purchase ledger
- Managing the sales invoicing process; preparing client sales invoices; credit control & reconciliation of the sales ledger
- Setting up online supplier’s payments (UK and International) for BACS and International Payments.
- VAT returns, bank account reconciliations
- Help out with the audit
- Housekeeping on company Finance Email Account.

Essential Desirable
- Must be highly organised, pro-active & confident & have the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Experience of working within a consultancy environment
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude who has the ability to plan, prioritise & manage their own workload effectively with limited supervision.
- Working knowledge of Sage 200 accounting software
- Can work as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good Standard of Education
- Fast learner who is able to adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent standard of written & spoken English
- Eligible to live & work in the UK
