The Position
Applications are invited to apply for the position of Control Room Operative at their Widnes site. This is full time permanent position working 12 hour shifts, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights).
As a Control Room Operative your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:
- Overseeing the process including the electrical generation from renewable energy sources
- Working under Health & Safety guidelines
- Continuous process operation
- Finished product quality
- Troubleshooting production / engineering problems on a busy Energy Plant including basic engineering knowledge
- Working as a Team member
- Data Logging and Sampling
- Environmental and general compliance under IPPC regulations and EMS 14001 accreditation.
Requirements
- Previous experience of process control.
- Have experience working in a continuous process environment.
- Have basic engineering knowledge.
- Be able to work well in a team and individually.
- Be able to assist the team in solving process problems.
- Have the ability to input and understand data on Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication skills.
