A Bath-based wall and floor tiling contracting business are looking for an applicant for a permanent full-time role. This diverse and busy position is an exciting opportunity to work within an award-winning group of companies in the construction industry.

They offer a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)

In this diverse role you will support the site-based management team in all aspects of the contract works, including preparing and submitting tenders for clients, liaising with suppliers regarding materials orders, processing purchase invoices and issuing sales invoices as well as general administrative support.

The successful applicant will have excellent communications skills, IT skills in Microsoft Office and may have experience of working with a specialist construction industry software (or can learn quickly!). Knowledge of the construction industry would be beneficial to be able to hit the ground running and the candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to be able to work independently and produce accurate work under pressure.

This role is based in the companies’ head office just outside the city centre of Bath which is easily accessible with public transport and has free on street parking. The candidate will be required to:
- Order materials and liaising with suppliers
- Process purchase and subcontractor invoices
- Issue sales invoices to clients and chase outstanding payments
- Assist with producing tenders and maintain client relationships
- Using Eque2 (construction software) to manage contracts and process invoices.
- Book and manage After Sales Care appointments.
- Assisting the office team to carry out adhoc administration tasks such as answering the phone, dealing with post etc.

Essential Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills
- Very organised and can work with a high level of accuracy
- Be able to work under pressure
- Good IT skills – including Microsoft Office (Excel / Outlook / Word)
- Be able to work independently but also know when to ask for help
- Have experience in a customer facing role
