Our unique online retail ‘value chain’ provides our clients with deep expertise across the disciplines required to trade online: Strategy, ecommerce, online marketing, trading and logistics. With 150 staff working across the UK and Europe, we are passionate about helping our clients transform their business opportunity online by thinking and acting differently.

We are now looking for a Content Manager. Within this role you will be required to work across our client base including client’s such as Joules, Homebase and Reckitt Benckiser, to deliver key client projects, in both strategic and delivery aspects.

The ideal candidate is organised, works well under pressure, loves to collaborate, takes on challenges and is creative. You should have experience working within aspects of content marketing, be it in content creation and/or in PR and digital outreach. The role includes content marketing strategy development, ideation, production, project management and measurement of performance.

The Role

- Working with clients to understand their brand positioning including current tone, voice and language
- Using SEO best practice to optimise content and offer guidance to clients
- The production, editing and publishing of content
- Following the performance strategy (as defined by technical performance managers), you will need to strategise, create and execute effective content marketing tactics.
- Thinking creatively to maximise campaigns and performance
- Build seeding lists through both manual research and the use of tools, to aid the process of contacting online influencers.
- Help to define the appropriate KPIs and measurement tactics to report on content marketing efforts.
- Create client facing presentations which help pitch, train or report on content marketing activities.
- Working with our clients to ensure projects run on time and meet their objectives
- Train our client and internal teams on content marketing best practice when required
- Working with 3rd parties (as appropriate) in the production of content or outreach partnerships

Desired Skills and Experience

- Excellent copy writing and creative skills
- Knowledge of SEO practices, Google Analytics and DC Storm
- Content marketing in a business context would also be preferable.
- Ability to present ideas in a clear and confident manner
- Ideally you will have digital marketing or retail industry experience.
