This independent music company is breaking down boundaries to deliver authentic and creative music solutions to content creators in every industry, all around the world.

The content manager is the conduit between business stakeholders and the creative department to plan and deliver the monthly BAU requirements for content, globally.

Typically this will cover the website, emails and social media.

You will be responsible for delivering their global content strategy with highly relevant and engaging, impactful content for both B2B and B2C customers. This will include a mix of editorial and utility content.

Key responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Owner of monthly content schedule (for website bi monthly ‘change out’) to be finalised and communicated 6-8 weeks ahead of delivery and agreed with the business ahead of confirmation
- Responsible for driving the content plan forward to meet delivery deadlines through the creative department with the support of creative operations.
- Responsible for capturing global BAU requirements for website, social media, events, digital marketing (and other where required).
- Be responsible and work closely with business stakeholders and creative ops to plan and deliver integrated campaigns across all business touch points.
- Lead meetings with business stakeholders to plan and identify requirements ahead of content schedule finalisation.
- Ensure content ideation is commercially balanced and fits within departmental budgets. Agree upfront with HOCC.
- Define stories for content schedule – including where stories are developed across 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier channels. For website, features, key website destinations and social media.
- Act as editor for copy to ensure story ideation is brought to life as defined within the agreed content plan and be responsible for final copy sign off under the supervision of Head of Creative and Content.
- Leadership of 2 direct reports – social manager and content exec.

Knowledge/ Experience/ Qualifications:

- +7 years in leading and managing content ideation and content process from concept to delivery for a global business. Evidence of accomplished social media leadership within global business from a strategic, creative and commercial view
- Experience working with Content management systems and platforms, e.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Magento, etc.
- Knowledge of content and SEO tools (such as SEM rush/SEO Moz/Similar Web) would be beneficial.
- Music industry background desired

- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Skilled content creator/story teller and manager of people and process
- High attention to detail levels for editing of marketing content or analysing data
- Thinks like the customer/editorial and commercially experienced
