This is an exciting opportunity for a construction manager to join a vibrant, dynamic flexible and proactive team based in London. This company is a well-established enabling works and builders works contractor working across London and the South East, acting as both Principal Contractor and Sub-contractor. They work across all industries including commercial, education, residential, retail, hotels and leisure.
You will be expected to have experience in the following categories:
- Temporary Works
- Structural alterations
- Controlled demolition
- Groundworks
- Structural alterations
- Experience with RC structures, i.e. concrete, reinforcement detailing, etc
- Structural steelwork (both permanent and temporary)
- Brick/blockwork package
Duties & responsibilities include; -
- Day to day management of drawing/design portals and databases
- Liaising with sub-contractors on a day to day basis
- Setting out
- Attending design workshops with clients
- Compiling, monitoring and reviewing programmes
- Placing sub contract orders
- Liaising with our QS for daily variations, fortnightly cost reports and monthly valuations
- RAMS (H&S requirements)
- Review the current project design / schemes and suggest possible alternatives
- Computer literacy
Candidates must have SMSTS, asbestos awareness certificate and be First Aid trained. You will have a good level of English. Abilities of planning, organising and control projects.
