The Company

This company delivers managed White Glove Event Conferencing and Call Services to major organisations across the globe. Now in their tenth year, they continue to grow and introduce new services for their clients. As part of this growth they are setting up a new division to serve a major customer.

The Role
As an Event Coordinator, you’ll be supporting multiple clients by delivering conference call services across the Globe. You will be responsible for managing audio and web conferences, ensuring each event runs flawlessly so that user satisfaction is maximised.

The primary tasks you’ll undertake are:
- Processing event and call bookings, via email, web site and phone.
- Acting as the main point of contact for the call organiser and involved parties for your assigned calls and events.
- Professionally operating audio and web conferences, making announcements into the call, introducing speakers and managing Q&A.
- Managing your diary and ensuring you fully understand the customer requirements.
- Most importantly, you'll be building valuable relationships with our customers and making a positive impact.

What You’ll Bring
This is an exciting time to start with them. Experience of the conference and event industry is not necessary, full training will of course be given. However, the ability, personality and drive to deliver excellent proactive Customer Service; to communicate professionally and confidently and adapt in fast-changing circumstances are all key requirements.
- You need to have an engaging personality, with excellent listening skills and instinctively know what makes good service.
- Conferencing and Events is not a 9-5 industry, we need to respond to customer demands and so you’ll need to work shifts to cover the global aspects of our client base. Shifts range from 7am to 11pm, you’ll work a 35-hour week within these hours. They understand the importance of work life balance, so you’ll get any extras hours worked as time back.
- You must be proficient in using PCs and be confident in using Microsoft Office software.
