Community Fundraiser
Full time – 37.5 hrs per week
Based in Westcliff-on-Sea & Witham
Salary: From £23,000 depending on experience
We are looking for energetic, proactive individual to join us as part of the Community Fundraising team, during a new and exciting phase for the charity.
You’ll play an important part in generating funds for Havens Hospices to ensure we can continue ‘Making every day count’ for patients with life-limiting conditions and their families from across Essex, throughout the journey of their illness and at the end of their lives.
You’ll be at the heart of your local community inspiring and helping people, schools, clubs, groups and more to raise money for Havens Hospices and to make the most of their fundraising experiences.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be dynamic and outgoing and able to engage with people of all backgrounds and ages. You must be able to prioritise your own workload, have a good level of numeracy, literacy and IT skills with an excellent telephone manner.
This position will require travel within a geographical area and include evening and weekend working. A full clean driving license and access to a car is essential.
