The role:

As the Committee Services Executive you will act as a relationship manager and representative to the Boards and Committees of their customers and to leverage these relationships to help the organisation. The post holder will provide committee services through the provision of secretarial activities, achieving targets and goals effectively against agreed Service Level Agreements.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Facilitate areas where the organisations knowledge production and delivery teams can work with customer organisations
- Engage with customers to ensure that services are administrated effectively and within Service Level Agreements
- Manage committee meetings, organising venues, preparing minutes and coordinate activity relating to outcomes/actions from meetings in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
- Support the event delivery teams, when required
- Respond to enquiries from members of customer organisations regarding memberships, events or other matters
- Facilitate effective communication between the organisations customers and their Subscriptions, Finance, OGGS Sales & Events and other departments so that the committees receive a professional experience from the Group

They are seeking someone with exceptional customer service skills who can maintain successful collaborative working relationships with the Boards and Committees and who has the determination to build upon these relationships to take them to the next level.

Additionally, applicants must have experience of supporting Committees, Boards or stakeholder groups and must be well organised with excellent time management skills and strong IT skills. It is essential that candidates have experience with online file sharing software, such as SharePoint or Dropbox, and be confident in running meetings using a laptop and be able to type minutes live during meetings.
