Commercial Manager/Director - Foodservice/OOH (Home Based)
The Company
This well-established ambitious food manufacturing business supply customers in retail, manufacturing and Foodservice. They are looking to recruit a strong strategic thinker with an excellent track record of growing business in the food and drink sector, someone to hit the ground running and develop existing and new relationships.
The Position
Reporting to the Managing Director the role will involve a high level interaction with the Foodservice/End User channel including Coffee Shops, QSR’s, Wholesale, Horeca, Leisure and Pub/Restaurant customers. Whilst there are strong existing accounts there is a new general focus within the business to expand the customer base within the channel and as such new business development is an important aspect of this role.
You will be responsible for at least one National Account Executive and build relationships with internal teams including NPD, liaising with them to ensure the delivery of market leading products that not only meet customer needs but also help the company exploit key opportunities within the industry.
The Candidate
They are looking for an experienced and talented Commercial/Sales Manager who is looking to make an impact in shaping the direction of customer business strategy. You will be of graduate calibre and likely to have previous sales experience of the Foodservice/End User channel within manufacturing. Driven and motivated to achieve fantastic results you’ll have a proven track record of success in commercial management and new business development where you have impressed customers with your excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship building skills. This position could suit a variety of professionals including a Controller, SNAM or Commercial Manager looking for a step up to a more senior level, or a commercial leader frustrated in their current role.
