A Commercial Manager is required to join one of the UK’s most successful companies, within the Outdoor (Camping & Caravanning) & Snowsport Leisure Industry, whose Brands include Vango, Force Ten, Lichfield, Rossignol, Anatom, Teko, Trangia & Wayfayrer.

As a key player within their Supply Chain network, you will work closely with other members of the Supply Chain Team, Product Managers, Suppliers and the Sales Team, to maximise product availability and realise stock level targets.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will be required to: -
- Maintain agreed stock levels, across specific brand portfolios and in line with targeted stock turn figures.
- Produce robust and flexible “intake” plans that meet the demands of their fast-paced wholesale environment.
- Accurately maintain and communicate Sales Forecasts.
- Ensure that all agreed Supply Chain timelines are achieved.
- Work closely with others in the team, to ensure 1st class Supply Chain Management.
- Provide ad hoc reports to Senior Management.
This is a new multi-dimensional role, you will have to take into consideration lead times, demand forecasts, promotional activity, supplier reliability and stock holding strategy.
This opportunity will appeal to ambitious, resourceful self-starters, who shall have experience of and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of offshore Supply Chains, in particular the Far-East. Previous experience of working with Brands, will be highly advantageous.
Educated to degree level and / or CIPS qualified, your personal attributes will include superior communication skills, social skills, credibility & influencing power, along with very strong IT skills. A good working knowledge of ERP systems and strong Microsoft Office skills are essential.
