This company is a leading financial services provider in their specialist field. Employing 450 staff in their three offices in Stockport, they provide consumer and commercial services in the UK for clients across key financial sectors. Working in an accredited (ISO27001, ISO9001) and regulated (FCA, PCI) environment, they manage over 1 million active accounts at any one time.
They are looking for experienced Cobol Analyst Programmers, to work in small team, developing and supporting corporate batch applications. Candidates should have demonstrable relevant experience. As well as development projects the successful candidate will unit test software, help deploy software solutions into the testing and operational environments and will develop the capability to support and analyse issues in test and live environments.
The company is looking for someone with the motivation and desire to succeed in this role, they use technologies other than Cobol and which they will train you however Cobol is mandatory.
