Engineering workshop role, Candidates will be required to demonstrate ability to set up machinery on their own, modify programs, write & prove programs from scratch. (Fanuc, Siemens, Hass) They will be able to read engineering drawings & produce work to fine tolerances with minimum of supervision.
For the right person they will consider possibility of additional & specific skills training in CAD/CAM/CNC Programming & machine setting.
Essential:
- Proven experience in precision engineering.
Ability to set up machine , including programming & tooling.
- Ability to maintain close tolerances & maintain high quality.
- Reliability
Desirable qualities:
- Time served
- Experience in Engineering workshop on manual Lathes & Milling, Grinding
- Experience in CNC machining environment.
- Fully conversant in programming Fanuc & similar systems.
- Living within 35 Minutes travel distance of NG13 8GF
