This high quality Joinery manufacturer specializes in high end, fast track, blue chip commercial and residential projects, mainly in the London area.

As the CNC Operator you will be responsible for producing processed panels to CNC manufacturing instructions and downloaded programme. Liaise with CNC manager and works staff to manufacture components to required priorities and maintain continuous throughput on CNC machine where possible

The work is based on a 41.5hr standard week. Overtime is paid at time and half. Standard hourly rate is £9.00

Duties
- Inspect materials before use and use experience to determine if they are likely suitable for the task in hand
- Follow procedures relating to chain of custody
- Follow procedures relating to Quality, Health and safety and environment (QHSE)
- Respect and assist colleagues
- Raise any issues immediately with line manager if you have any concerns relating to QHSE, or another line manager or director if your line manager is unavailable
- Support works health and safety representative to minimise risk and improve the working conditions
- Complete quality control records
- Raise NCR's through the works NCR system so that improvements can be sort
- Check all ironmongery & panel sizes once machined
- Check compressor daily and empty tank
- Do not leave running equipment unattended unless directed to do so by your line manager
- Do not undertake any task that you feel is unsafe either to you or others - we are all individuals
- Follow managers and supervisor’s instructions
- Change blades and cutters as required (refer to competence matrix)
- Ensure all panels are marked up with the COC colour and once job is completes
strapped with paperwork to trolley
- Unload and load delivery vehicles including fork truck & banks man operation
- Keep safe routes (yellow & Red) clear to keep others away from your work station
- Minimise waste & maximize productivity
- Work within HBJ Quality Acceptance Criteria

Required experience / skills
- Experience with a range of Mill machinery essential
- Ability to work without immediate and continuous direction
- Basic knowledge of PC programmes
- Forklift driver training experience preferred
- Attention to detail essential
