Supplying the aerospace industry for over 55 years this highly experienced and growing company are recruiting for a CNC Miller to join their team.

The role includes programming, setting and operating CNC machines to produce low to mid quantity batches. Primarily supplying the aerospace sector, quality control and accuracy are paramount.

Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines
- Knowledge of Mazak is essential and Catia V5 highly desirable
- Ensuring quality and safety standards are always adhered to
- Working effectively and efficiently with high value fabricated components

Experience/Skills
- Proven experience as a programmer/operator for a 3 or 4 axis Mazak CNC Mill
- Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
- Knowledge of how to machine, handle and protect all types of manufactured components including fabricated parts and assemblies
- Experience of using Mazak language and Catia V5 software
- Attention to detail and a high level of mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Flexible with the ability to adapt to the organisation’s ever-changing requirements
- Self-motivated with a drive for results and continual improvement
- Accomplishes organisation goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

This is a full-time permanent position. Applicants must be entitled to work in the UK.

Working hours are 07:45 to 16:15 Monday-Thursday, 07:45 to 12:45 on Fridays.

Salary: Dependant on experience

This company specialise in the manufacture of a wide variety of components including heat exchangers, water extractors and other complex or simple parts and assemblies.

In-house capabilities include CNC (4 & 5 axis) machining and conventional machining, small bore tube extrusion, TIG welding, Torch and Salt dip brazing, sheet metal fabrication, heat treatments of aluminium alloys and other materials, non-destructive testing (HDT & Conductivity, Penetrant), Tensile Testing and paint spraying for the Aerospace and Nuclear industries.

Holding a range of quality and special process approvals including BS EN 9100:2016, NADCAP accreditations including Weld (TIG), Braze (Dip & Torch), Heat Treatment, Paint and NDT (Penetrant) and numerous customer approvals.
