A CNC machinist is required to operate/program a CNC lathe for a small family owned business manufacturing hygienic centrifugal pumps in Malvern. As a CNC machinist, you will be machining small batch components in stainless steel, and where necessary, writing or updating the programs on the CNC lathe.
Other duties may include occasional CNC milling, fitting and other fabrication. Hours: 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00am to 3.30pm Friday. You will be replacing one of their CNC machinists who is leaving.
The CNC machinist role involves:
- Operating a CNC lathe, machining small batch components in stainless steel.
- Writing or updating CNC programs on the CNC lathe.
- Occasional CNC milling. Possible fitting and other fabrication.
- Based in Malvern, Worcestershire.
