The Company

With over 30 years’ experience in the industry, this companies established client base range from National Facilities Directors for blue chip companies to Office Managers. They cover an array of services that are required to effectively design, create, clean and maintain professional work places throughout London, the South East and Home Counties.

The company is quickly becoming the one-stop shop for all office cleaning and maintenance needs!

They are looking for an experienced, well organised and highly motivated individual to help manage 100+ cleaning contracts, the role is predominantly an area managers position and heavily reactive to make sure the customer receives the best service possible and the highest standards of cleaning.

The Role

The role is supported by an admin team within head office. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management of one of the divided London areas to ensure the smooth running of their respective customer sites, an overall portfolio of 100+ contracts and 180+ cleaning staff. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleaning standards and that customer and staff satisfaction is maintained through excellent customer service. Responsible for supervisors and cleaners. Cleaners operates daily in the mornings, lunchtimes and evenings, predominantly Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Managing Cleaners including disciplinary.
- Scheduling Cleaners including arranging cover.
- Quality Auditing.
- Recruitment of Cleaners.
- Training Cleaners.
- Manage Payroll.
- Site Start Ups.
- Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained at all customer sites.
- Ensuring continuous customer satisfaction.
- Reactive Training.
- Maintaining stock levels.
- Great Communication with Clients, attending regular meetings.

Beneficial additional experience in the following areas.

- Deep Cleans.
- Carpet Cleaning.
- Stone floor cleaning/buffing.
- BICS Qualification or equivalent.
- Driving License.

The ideal candidate will:

- Be pro-active, logical and forward thinking.
- Be flexible on working times and able to travel across London.
- Have a good knowledge of the commercial cleaning industry.
- Have a strong desire to succeed and promote a high level of customer service.
- Have self-motivation.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Take full responsibility for tasks.
- Manage cleaners in a supportive manner.
- Be based with access to London.
- Have satisfactory references and right to work in the UK.
