This company is a leading provider of chimney sweeping services across Hampshire. They are a friendly and knowledgeable team that strives to offer outstanding customer service to its customers using the latest equipment and CRM tools. Their customers compliment them on their punctuality, courtesy and their standard of care and cleanliness.
As a chimney sweep you will be responsible for cleaning the chimneys in customers’ houses. Once the job is completed you will issue a certificate of sweeping/take a payment from the customer using a tablet provided. Jobs will be sent to you via your tablet for you to complete each day. You will not be responsible for making bookings, which are made centrally.
The role is based in North Hampshire with the need to travel further afield to South Hampshire when required.
This is a varied role with the opportunity to interact with multiple customers each day, each day will be different. This role is fulfilling and an opportunity to train in a new career.
No formal qualifications or experience are required although you will need to hold a full UK driving license. Excellent customer service skills are needed as you will be the face of the business. You will need to be physically fit and have a good attitude to work. You will be required to have no criminal record as a CRB check will be completed for the successful applicant.
A company van will be provided with 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. You will be paid a basic salary that increases as training targets are met and your experience grows. There are also performance related bonuses. The salary on offer is;
Year 1 £18,000 per annum plus bonuses (OTE estimated at £20,000)
Year 2 £22,000 per annum plus bonuses (OTE estimated at £25,000)
Year 3 £26,000 per annum plus bonuses (OTE estimated at £30,000)
The opportunity to increase earnings through overtime in the busier months of the year is also available.
This role is commutable from Aldershot, Alton, Andover, Camberley, Farnborough, Farnham, Fleet, Winchester and the surrounding areas.
