This local charity helps people to improve their skills for life, work and learning through counselling, education, mentoring and volunteering. Their programmes support disadvantaged young people, adults and families in improving their chances in life. Through their programmes they are enabling people throughout Surrey to overcome the disadvantage of low skills, poor educational achievement, limited opportunities and tough financial circumstances.

They are seeking an ambitious Chief Executive to provide inspirational leadership and direction to their skilled and committed team by setting and delivering plans that enable them to meet their new strategic aims.

The new leader will have energy and vision, with the ability to successfully maintain their current range of programmes whilst also developing their income streams so that they can change the lives of more families across Surrey. As Chief Executive you will have accountability for the strategic leadership, financial management and operation of the Trust and you will be the external ambassador for the Trust and their mission, developing and maintaining strategic partnerships.

While you may not necessarily have previous experience as a Chief Executive in the third sector, you’ll understand the challenges facing charities today and you will have an in-depth knowledge of how to overcome the challenges of providing services and support in areas of relative deprivation in a county like Surrey.

Once you have uploaded your CV you will receive an email containing the link to the employer’s website to complete their online application.
