Their CEO has been offered an exciting opportunity to lead the Government of Victoria, Australia response to domestic and family violence, and to cover this unpaid leave of absence, they are recruiting a Chief Executive Officer to prove sabbatical cover to between March 2020 and March 2024.
They are a charity that places their feminist ethos and values central to their governance and practice, and the promote continuing professional development across their teams. The successful applicant will work closely with their members, funders and key stakeholders as they implement the next phase of their 5-year plan, directed by their strong Board of Trustees and supported by a highly experienced national team, for the benefit of survivors and the national network of specialist services across Wales.
You will be able to evidence commitment to their values and to placing survivors’ experiences central to all they do, a proven track record of strong leadership in a senior strategic role and influencing national policy development through a period of change. You will also have experience of charity governance and financial management, and an excellent understanding of violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence and approaches to achieve its prevention.
