This is a small family owned care home situated in the scenic countryside of Sparham near Norwich and who pride themselves on their reputation.
They have an exciting opportunity which has become available for a part time chef providing varied, nutritional diet choices for their residents.
The duties include:
- Stock ordering and monitoring
- Produce menus with fresh produce in relation to seasons
- Working closely with the residents to ensure the diet they receive meets their needs.
Skills and experience:
- You will have experience and ability to use all fresh produce which enables the right candidate to be creative, and produce traditional, home cooked hearty meals.
- NVQ required within Catering or Hospitality
- Any other relevant certificates will be advantageous however training can be provided
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing a quality service
The position is sociable hours with no spilt shifts, the hours are 07.30-15.00 working alternate weekends split.
The position is dependent on a DBS check which the company pays for.
