Chartered Building Surveyor (RICS or CIOB)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established commercial property investment company based in North London. You will have a minimum of 3 years PQE in a commercial property environment.
The role is to support the principles of the business and contribute to asset enhancement and maintenance of the portfolio, working in conjunction with the internal management team and external project teams.
Essential qualities and skills include
- Able to operate independently or as part of a team
- Good building pathology skills and experience
- Sound knowledge of building construction
- Understanding of building services
- Dilapidations acting for the landlord
- Specification and brief preparation
- Contract administration
- Ability to assess design proposals critically and constructively
- Experience of neighbourly matters
- Experience of preparing and updating RCA’s
- Experience of cost and quality monitoring
For this role, you will need to be a fully qualified (RICS or CIOB) Building Surveyor with a strong technical background and the ability to confidently deliver a full range of professional and project-based instructions. The ability to liaise with a client and consult with them on their properties is a key part of your day to day responsibilities.
This a permanent, full-time role with excellent career prospects. You’ll be working Monday to Friday and must be willing to travel in and around London.
Salary £60,000 - £70,000
