An opportunity has arisen for a full time person to manage the Chandlery here at this marina in Nottingham.
The chandlery holds a comprehensive stock of marine accessories and sells red diesel, gas and groceries.
Applicant to be responsible for a small team and the day to day running of the Chandlery including all boat sales and moorings.
This is a varied, hands on and exciting position, with much to learn.
Previous sales experience is essential as is a sound understanding and previous computer experience including excel.
Duties will include Customer Care, Cash control, Stock control, Security, Staff management, Health and Safety.
Advertising relevant to the chandlery and sale of boats.
Day to day ordering of stock plus working and liaising with the Workshop Manager,
Aims will be to attain smooth running of the chandlery, increase sales, profit levels and turnover
Previous experience/interest in the boating industry would be beneficial.
The position is full time and will include weekends.
