An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at this friendly and hard working Community Interest Company as they take part in a new local project to support people in Derby who are homeless. The aim is to test a new model of non-coercive, non-collusive support, working closely with other services supporting homeless people in Derby.
The post holders will contribute to the pilot by delivering an effective and high quality person-centred and strength-based coaching service to homeless people in Derby. The hours will be 2pm to 6pm, 5 days a week, on a rolling rota to work one weekend in three.
They are looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about social justice and embrace diversity. You will have a strong sense of your own identity, self care and emotional well being. You will excel at working with others towards a common goal and believe that people have the right to thrive within their own community. You know about homelessness and what it takes to survive on the streets.
You don’t like using labels. You will have a ‘can do’ entrepreneurial approach, be positive and honest, not be afraid to challenge or be challenged, and above all have a good sense of humour. You will also have a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
Remuneration packages commensurate with level of experience
