This company is a fast growing team and they are passionate about delivering a clinically excellent and accessible online counselling service to adults and children in schools. They are committed to innovation and using technology to improve mental health and wellbeing within the education system.

They are looking for a qualified and experienced Counsellor who is skilled in working with both children and adults to join their innovative and thriving counselling service. This role will involve providing case management and clinical support to their team of remotely based counsellors therefore, experience of providing support and guidance to clinicians and a strong sense of ethics is essential. You will also have a good understanding of the primary and secondary education system, an aptitude for using technology and an interest in collaborative service development.

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload of adult and child counselling clients.
- Carry out telephone and online counselling assessments.
- Offer support and guidance to a team of remotely based associate counsellors.
- To provide system and process training to remotely based associate counsellors.
- To uphold safeguarding and risk management procedures.
- Liaising with internal colleagues to support the smooth running of the service.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the counselling service.

Essential Criteria:
- Experience of working as a qualified counsellor for at least three years post-qualification.
- Qualifications to a minimum of level 5 in adult and child counselling.
- BACP or UKCP membership.
- BACP/UKCP accredited or working towards.
- Experience of providing short term counselling input to adults and children with a range of clinical presentations.
- Experience of counselling children and adults online
- Experience of assessing for and managing psychological risk.
- Ability to manage safeguarding issues.
- Attends regular clinical supervision, adhering to the BACP/UKCP guidelines.
- Maintains continuous professional development in line with BACP recommendations
- Proven communication and team working skills.
- Must be comfortable using a computer and common software packages

Starting salary: £28,000 per annum with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
