The role is varied and involves helping older people to live independently in their own homes. Tasks can include helping with personal care (washing and dressing), preparing meals, supporting with medication, shopping, light housework duties (doing the laundry, washing up, changing bed sheets), escorting to various appointments, providing companionship and improve their day-to-day life on a one-to-one basis

They provide full training and one to one mentoring from your first day with them, so whilst experience is helpful, it is not essential, as they will give you the confidence to become a wonderful Care Assistant.

Ideal Care Assistants will exhibit the following characteristics:

They work in the area of Richmond, Sheen, Kew, Mortlake, Roehampton and Barnes. Therefore the care assistants will be required to visit clients in this area, which may include some travel.
