This company is a Shrewsbury based furniture manufacturer. They are a bespoke designer and maker of high end fitted interior furniture, kitchens and interior joinery. They currently have 25 members of staff who cover all areas of their business, to include sales, design, project management, manufacture and installation country wide.
They need skilled people to help them expand their business and grow with them.
Your main responsibilities and essential skill requirements:
- Must be used to making complete pieces of furniture from start to finish as well as working as part of a team on larger projects.
- Able to work from detailed production drawings and cutting lists
- Understand cabinet making principles
- Must have had a minimum of 2 years experience of bench work cabinet making.
- Must be used to selecting and laying veneers
- Must be used to CNC production methods
- Well organised and able to work to deadlines
- Candidates must have a sound technical background in solid and veneered construction, together with good hand and machine skills.
- You must be able to work to precise tolerances and must possess an intricate attention to detail
- You may be required to assist in the installation of the furniture, country wide
