One of the UK’s leading distributors of Electronic Office Supplies with a turnover of £140m and over 110 employees based in Bradford. They are part of a Pan-European group with offices in France, Germany, Holland, Italy and Spain and have a group turnover in excess of €900m.

Responsibilities:
- To manage the company inventory assets effectively and ensure they deliver exceptional customer serviceability.
- To focus on the end user business to ensure they are offering an exceptional service.
- To ensure they buy the required level of stock proficiently and on competitive terms.
- To play an integral part towards improving departmental workflow processes, encouraging teamwork and best practice.

Skills & Experience:
- To be able to ensure written policies are adopted at all times
- To provide assistance to distribution
- To resolve any queries swiftly and effectively
- To be Computer literate with knowledge of MS Excel
- To have experience as a Buyer
- Experience in minimising company backorder levels
- Be able to negotiate competitive prices and terms
- Be able to work closely with the Purchasing Manager
- Able to manage the provision of product or stock movements, price changes, price protection claims effectively
- Understanding of the competitive landscape.

Salary & Benefits:
- £18,000 to £21,000 per annum depending on experience
