Role
They are looking for an experienced Buyer that is highly motivated to manage the company inventory assets effectively and ensure they deliver exceptional customer service ability. The candidate must be professional, articulate and hardworking; with excellent eye for detail. They should be an integral part towards improving departmental workflow processes, encouraging teamwork and best practice.

Essential skills/Experience
- To be able to take proactive action
- To be able to ensure written policies are adopted at all times
- To provide assistance to distribution at stock take
- To resolve any queries swiftly and effectively
- To be Computer literate with knowledge of MS Excel
- To have experience as a Buyer

Desirable Skills/Experience
- Experience in minimising company backorder levels
- Be able to negotiate competitive prices and terms with non-direct suppliers on a proactive basis
- Be able to work closely with the Purchasing Manager and ensure supplier forecasts are achieved
- To have managed inventory levels effectively and against pre-agreed targets
- Able to manage the provision of product or stock movements, price changes, price protection claims effectively
- Able to manage the provision of product information effectively
- Understanding of the competitive landscape
