The role of the Business Support Executive is to provide administrative and sales support to the company's Sales Team. This is an office based role where you will handle and allocate incoming enquiries and provide day to day support to the Business Development and Customer Development teams.

This will include all aspects of price preparation to proposal stage for overseas postage, and their range of Tracked solutions. An important part of this role will involve first stage respond to sales enquiries, so you must be comfortable talking to customers by phone and able to communicate effectively in writing.

Your Tasks

- Supporting the Sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Prepare and issue accurate and timely quotations and documentation on behalf of the company's Sales Team and also in direct requests from customers, ensuring sales personnel are informed in a timely manner
- Provide estimates and documentation for incoming enquiries in line with the incoming enquiries procedure
- Ensure new business gained is in-line with the required “mix of business” and the required level of profitability
- Ensure that all activity is recorded on the CRM system
- Demonstrate adequate product knowledge and understanding to enable maximum advantage in handling all incoming enquiries
- Deal with Adhoc proposals from within the Group of Companies
- Always consider profitability in accordance with cost base minimum margins and assess suitability of work/projects in accordance with production schedules and expertise
- Provide support to the Heads of Sales, Sales Director and other departments on occasion
- Ensure all appropriate administration is completed for new business i.e Terms and Conditions, Application for account, job specification sheets and hand overs to the different teams are thorough
- Adhoc meeting support – room set-up /preparing refreshments.

Your Profile

- You will have experience within an administrative supporting role, preferably in a sales environment
- You will have excellent telephone communication skills together
- Strong written communication and a high level of numeracy
- Intermediate computer skills are required particularly on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sugar (or similar CRM System), Hawk (or similar MIS system)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to multi task and work under pressure
- Must be a team player with a supportive nature
- Ability to demonstrate good customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail.
